This Privacy Policy explains how Driven Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the DriveX mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Vehicle and insurance information
- Vehicle details you choose to add.
- Insurance information you choose to store, such as insurer name, member ID, policy dates, phone number, and an optional photo of your insurance card. Sensitive fields such as your policy number are stored in protected form and shown to you only after re-authentication.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App and its features.
- Communicate with you about your account or service changes.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3How Your Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us operate the App, under agreements limiting their use of your data — including Google (routing, sign-in), Mapbox (lane and directions data), and Apple (sign-in and CarPlay). Your device shares location with these mapping providers to return routes and guidance.
- Weather providers that return conditions for your location along a route.
- Legal and safety disclosures when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Third-party services process data under their own privacy policies. Please review Google, Apple, and Mapbox privacy policies for how they handle location and account data.
4Location Data
Navigation and road-condition features require precise location. You can grant or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Revoking location will disable navigation and related features. We collect location only while you are using these features as described above.
5Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
6Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including protected storage of sensitive fields. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7Your Rights and Choices
- Access, update, or delete information stored in your account, including vehicle and insurance details.
- Request deletion of your account by contacting us at the address below.
- Control location and notification permissions through your device settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA). Contact us to exercise these rights.
8Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
